FAQs
Where is the wedding?
The White Raven venue is 30 minutes outside Missoula. Shuttles will be provided and are recommended. If you prefer to drive, there is parking on-site.
Do I need to rent a car?
If you only plan to attend wedding events, a car isn't necessary. Lyft and Uber operate in Missoula, plus the public bus system is free to all and we will offer shuttles to the wedding venue. If you plan to explore more of Montana, rent a car well in advance -- rental cars go quickly in the summer.
Where should I stay?
We will have room blocks at three hotels in downtown Missoula: The AC Marriott, The Residence Inn, and The Wren. Links to discounted booking are in the Travel Details section above. The AC and Residence are connected to one another; the Wren is across the street and has more local flair. All three are a 5min drive/20min walk to our welcome party at Washington-Grizzly Stadium at the University of Montana. Wedding day shuttles will depart from these hotels. AirBnB and VRBO also operate in Missoula as well!
Any travel tips?
We recommend flying into Missoula (MSO), but Glacier International Airport (FCA) is another option and a beautiful ~2hr drive away.
When flying into Missoula, avoid tight layovers (<40 mins) through SLC as it can be a long walk between terminals.
What should I wear?
Our welcome party is in the football stadium club. The dress code is casual but "cowboy casual" is encouraged! Our wedding is mainly outside and the dress code is cocktail attire. Jacket and tie are optional. Keep in mind the venue has grass, so thin heels are not recommended. Missoula weather in May is unpredictable. Highs are typically in the low 70s and it gets chilly at night.
Why Montana?
Nick had been dreaming of visiting Montana since age 5. In 2020, he roped Skye into going for the first time (his too), and they fell in love with the scenery, food, people, and lifestyle. Fast forward to 2024, we now consider Montana our 2nd home and we want to share it with you!
What's the itinerary?
Thursday, 7PM onwards: Welcome Dinner. All are welcome and dinner will be served buffet style, so join us any time.
Friday, 5PM: Wedding, dinner, and more. Shuttles depart from the AC Marriott at 3:45pm.
Saturday, 8:30-10:30AM: Coffee and light breakfast at the Residence Inn courtyard (outside).
